We are proud to present our Tindiga Tented Camp, a beautiful and small traditional camp. It is ideally situated only 1,5 km from the stunning Lake Eyasi, home to the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. The camp sits on a hill overlooking the shrubland of the Eyasi ecosystem, with Mount Masumbuku in the west and the distant hills of Ngorongoro in the north, giving the ultimate ‘African experience’.

The Swahili house was originally set up and used as an Indian merchant house in the 19th century. In the 125 years that followed the building became a home to one of the many Sultan families that inhabited Zanzibar. Most of the hotel has been restored into its original state, which makes your stay at The Swahili House a real Zanzibari experience!
