DAY 1: ARRIVAL TANZANIA – TRANSFER TO MOIVARO LODGE (KIA LODGE or ARUSHA SAFARI LODGE)

  • Meet with us at the airport, greetings, and transfer to one of the three lodges. Our staff will be ready to give you a warm welcome into Tanzania, with a fresh juice and refreshing towel.
  • Relax by the campfire, bar, or lounge area before getting ready for your first day or night in Tanzania.

 

DAY 2: MOIVARO LODGE - GAME DRIVE IN TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

  • After breakfast, pick up from the lodge. Meet with your guide who will be with you during the safari. 
  • Game drive in Tarangire National Park.
  • Late evening drive to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and a night stay at Migunga Tented Camp. 

 

DAY 3: MIGUNGA TENTED CAMP - VISIT LAKE NATRON

  • Depart with packed lunch boxes towards Lake Natron. 
  • Walk to the waterfalls for a fresh dip in the falls. 
  • Evening walk with Maasai tribesmen to the shores of Lake Natron.
  • Overnight at Lake Natron Tented Camp.

 

DAY 4: LAKE NATRON CAMP – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

  • After breakfast, depart to Serengeti National Park.
  • Game drives in the central Serengeti National Park.
  • Dinner and overnight at Ikoma Tented Camp.
  • Optional activities at Ikoma include a walking safari across the Serengeti plains or a night game drive.

 

DAY 5: FULL-DAY GAME DRIVE IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

  • Full day of game drives in the Serengeti, one of Africa's best national parks. 
  • Overnight at Ikoma Tented Camp.

 

DAY 6: IKOMA TENTED CAMP - GAME DRIVE NGORONGORO CRATER

  • After breakfast, depart to Ngorongoro Crater.
  • Game drive in the Crater - spot the Big Five! Buffalos, black rhinos, elephants, lions, and leopards.
  • Late evening drive to Crater Forest Tented Camp.

 

DAY 7: VISIT HADZABE & DATOGA TRIBES IN LAKE EYASI

  • After breakfast drive to Lake Eyasi.
  • At Lake Eyasi you will visit the cultural and natural heritage of the Hadzabe and Datoga tribe.
  • Overnight at Tindiga Tented Camp.

 

DAY 8: HUNTING WITH HADZABE – TRANSFER KILIMANJARO AIRPORT

  • Following breakfast, spend a half day hunting with the Hadzabe men.
  • The driver will transfer you to Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport where you will embark your flight back home or to Zanzibar.
